I qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1978 from King's College Hospital London.I then spent many years working in Hospital practising general Physiotherapy varying from Out-patients to Intensive Care.
For the last 20 years I have specialised in Paediatric Physiotherapy.
Having used Pilates myself for several years I developed a special interest in Pilates as a clinical tool and undertook specific courses in Paediatric Pilates for Physiotherapists.
This led me on to take the full Body Control Pilates training to enable me to become an Instructor.
Body Control Pilates is recognised as one of the leading training bodies of Pilates Teachers in the U.K. It was amongst the first to have it's training approved by the Register of Exercise Professionals.
